Free or Low Cost Options

2) Get a free overnight sleep study while participating in a clinical trial

If you can’t afford a sleep study, find a sleep-related clinical trial that’s looking for people to participate in polysomnograms:

3) Get a free or discounted sleep study at a sleep center

Some sleep centers have federal funds or private grants to provide services to uninsured, low income, or unemployed people.  Other sleep centers may discount the price of a sleep study if you are not covered by insurance.

Speak with a manager of a sleep center and explain your situation.

4) Discounted CPAP equipment

The American Sleep Apnea Association has a CPAP assistance program to help patients in need.  You can get CPAP equipment as significantly reduced cost.
